When and where is the event?

Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 6 pm at The Peabody Hotel in downtown Memphis

 

What is the theme?

Our 2017 event theme will be Breakfast at Tiffany’s, or perhaps we should say “Breakfast at The Peabody.” Picture this: an evening of New York flair and sophistication, a sleek Manhattan cityscape, Central Park alight with lanterns and a dusting of snow, shining pearls, sparkling diamonds, elegant dresses, black ties, and that lovely Tiffany blue. It will be a classy, creative, joyous affair that you must be a part of.

 

How should I dress?

Dress is black tie optional. We encourage you to dress your best. It’s a great excuse to be totally fancy! Men may wear tuxes or suits. Women may wear long or cocktail length dresses. If you would like to dress in theme, go for it. You can totally rock an LBD, cat eye, tiara, and gloves. Your inner Audrey awaits.

 

Can I stay the night at The Peabody?

Unfortunately, our room block is full and The Peabody is currently booked for the evening, so if you haven't already reserved your room, you will not be able to stay at The Peabody.  But we still want you to attend!  You might consider a ride service to and from the event if your'e concerned about driving home late into the night.

 

How is the money raised at this event used?

The Winter Gala is Page Robbins’s largest single fundraiser and is a vital source of funding for the Center. Page Robbins offers exceptional weekday care for those with memory loss the frail elderly. We also provide support and social services for caregivers. Participants at Page Robbins have good days – days filled with music, movement, art, games, reminiscing, fellowship, and fun, while their caregivers get a much needed break.

 

How many people attend?

Last year’s event had 500 guests. We hope to have around 600 this year, so PLEASE invite your friends, family, co-workers, etc. to this event! The more, the merrier.

 

How much money did last year’s event raise?

Last year’s event raised $170,000 for the Center. We hope to raise even more money this year. With your help, this goal can be reached.

What's the Itinerary for the evening?

6:00 pm Check In on the Mezzanine Level balcony, Silent Auction and Cocktail Hour in the Continental Ballroom

8:00 pm Dinner, Live Auction, and Joy Giving in the Grand Ballroom

10:00 pm Dancing to The Soul Shockers (thanks to our Entertainment Sponsor OR Nurses Nationwide!) and Photo Booth in the Grand Ballroom, Auction Check Out in the Continental Ballroom
